- Meta’s AI will streamline hiring by assessing coding skills and suggesting tailored interview questions.
- The AI system will evaluate human interviewers, flagging inappropriate questions and analyzing feedback quality.
- Set for 2025, Meta’s AI aims to reduce paperwork and enhance recruitment efficiency.
Meta is poised to transform its hiring process by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Starting in the second half of 2025, Meta will deploy an AI system to streamline recruitment tasks, aiming to boost efficiency and ensure consistency across its hiring practices.
With the help of AI, recruiters can have the AI evaluate coding skills, put together custom interview questions, connect candidates with proper interviewers, arrange schedules, and monitor interviewers’ skills. A special feature is that the system can check interviewers’ questions to find inappropriate or insensitive on, assess their feedback, and monitor each candidate’s progress through the hiring steps.
“Humans will still play a key role in interviews, but AI will be used to make things faster and more organized,” says a Meta Spokesperson. This approach allows the AI to manage administrative and analytical tasks, enabling human recruiters to focus on engaging with candidates while reducing paperwork and improving interview flow.

Meta’s effort shows a popular development happening in the tech industry. Amazon utilizes AI to pre-select job applicants and fit them to job openings and according to reports, they do not allow candidates to rely on AI in their interviews. IBM has adopted AI and has now automated 200 roles in its HR department to help make the company more efficient. Based on a LinkedIn study, a higher number of firms, reaching 37%, will be utilizing or experimenting with AI-guided recruitment, as compared to 27% in 2024.
By blending Artificial Intelligence with human oversight, Meta aims to create a more efficient, fair, and streamlined hiring process, signaling the increasing role of technology in human resources.
